THE ROLE
As Sales Executive you will seek out potential customers utilising your sales skills, knowledge, techniques and available sales tools to sell AMCO services and solutions.
Sales will be of high-quality, address customer needs fairly and be profitable for AMCO. A proven ability to put the customer’s requirements at the heart of what we do is essential, whilst striving to deliver high-quality customer service levels at all times.
The Sales Executive will maintain ongoing customer relationships during the onboarding process until the customer is fully handed over to the Business Development team.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive business growth through the sale of AMCO products, services and offerings to new customers.
- Generate new leads and maintain a healthy pipeline.
- Effectively communicate with potential new customers to drive continued revenue, profit growth, and increased engagement.
- Build and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with customers and suppliers, quickly addressing their needs, and ensuring issues and challenges are resolved swiftly.
- Communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of organisations.
- Negotiate and finalise contracts with prospective customers.
- Visit customer/potential customers to promote company services.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing campaigns.
- Understand and promote the company strategy.
- Work closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and KPI adherence.
- Establish key contacts, relationships, and connections across the wider sector.
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business, including group and extended opportunities.
- Network and identify sales opportunities by understanding AMCO competitors to enable AMCO to seize marketing opportunities.
- Ensure potential customers are aware of the latest AMCO solutions.
- Identify cross-functional service/product opportunities.
- Work with Operations and project teams to ensure swift and high-quality onboarding of customers into AMCO services.
- Work with the Business Development team to transfer customers into the portfolio management process.
- Manage multiple commercial processes (budgets, contract renegotiation, KPI measurement), forecast precisely, and identify solutions AMCO can offer, resulting in a positive commercial outcome for AMCO and the customer.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven and successful track record of B2B sales and business development in the logistics industry.
- Demonstrable achievements in a similar role within the logistics market.
- Proven ability to generate new business opportunities within the logistics marketplace through increased engagement and identifying opportunities.
- Strong understanding of working collaboratively across functions to achieve success.
- Experience working within a fast-paced, high-growth logistics environment.
