Amco Services International are delighted to announce that they have won another packaging contract with a major 1st Tier automotive supplier.
The Packaging Assembly Supply contract is to source, assemble and supply DENSO with heavy duty corrugated pallet boxes for the export of finished goods to a major automotive OEM.
The award of this contract demonstrates Amco’s capability to assemble packaging materials and products and also to operate a best in class assembly facility from their Amco Telford hub.

Jon Phillips Amco’s Operations Manager in Telford says. ‘We have worked for over 2 years with DENSO to develop this project which involves the supply and assembly of export pallet boxes from our Telford facility. A dedicated packaging hub has been set up which consists of a sub assembly and main assembly area where over 10 packaging components are brought together to form the export box. With a minimum of 2 trailer loads per day delivered to DENSO, we feed their lineside manufacturing process which plays a critical part in their operations.’
Paul Andrews Amco’s CEO added ‘This is hopefully the start of a long term relationship with DENSO in which we can be a primary solutions provider across their supply chain requirements to include Transport, Warehousing and Packaging. With more packaging assembly projects in the pipeline we are now positioned to scale this business offering to what we hope will be a ‘best in class’ packaging facility here in our Amco Telford operation, catering for the automotive and general industrial sectors.’
He continued ‘This contract award adds to Amco Group’s emergent portfolio of specialisms and opens up new markets for the company for further business growth. It is a declared ambition of Amco to offer a wider range of products and services and to break the mold in what is perceived as a traditional Warehousing and Logistics Service Provider sector. It is this ambition that has led to the recently announced restructure as Amco Group. ’
